Announced during Amazon’s event on Tuesday, the tech giant describes the feature as a new kind of voice assistant in partnership with Disney. The feature will allow beloved Disney characters from Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and more to interact with you on supported Echo devices.
The assistant will feature over 1,000 custom interactions that include these character voices and original recordings from the Disney library, jokes, interactive trivia, soundscapes, and more.
Amazon also announced that beginning next year, all of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels would come equipped with an Echo Show 5 in guest rooms so people can use the “Hey Disney” feature to find out information about the parks or request hotel services.
