Amazon has introduced two new Kindle Paperwhite models—the new 8GB Paperwhite and the 32GB Signature Edition—which will be available for purchase at the end of October. The redesign is meant to make for a better overall reading experience, with Amazon listing several improvements in the official announcement.
First and most importantly is the screen, itself, which has been bumped up to 6.8-inches and given smaller (10.2mm) bezels. The screen also can get about 10% brighter than previous models, if needed. There's also an adjustable warm light and the display includes a white-on-black “dark” mode. The Signature Edition is the same, except it also includes a front light that automatically can adjust brightness depending on your environment.
