Samsung had a busy day today with its Galaxy Unpacked event. The company went heavy on foldable smartphones with the announcement of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. However, the company also announced a solid-looking smartwatch and a new pair of Galaxy Buds.
Samsung announced that the Galaxy Watch 4 would come with plenty of good stuff, thanks in part to its partnership with Google on the OS. Samsung is calling its version of Wear OS “One UI Watch,” and it looks like it ticks all the boxes.
A particularly cool feature Samsung announced is that compatible smartwatch apps are automatically installed on your watch when the phone counterpart is installed on your smartphone. The company also says that settings like do not disturb and blocked callers are automatically synced between the watch and your phone.
