Spotify is testing a new subscription service called Spotify Plus that only costs $.99 per month for some users. However, it still has ads, and removing them is one of the main reasons to spend money on a music streaming subscription.
The price is about 10 times cheaper than Spotify Premium, which costs $9.99 per month and comes with lots of other advantages, including removing ads. Obviously, there will be some features eliminated to get the price down so low.
